How to play on your phone
Tap the screen to walk and interact. Pick a verb
(Open, Look at, Talk to…) then tap the thing.
During conversations, tap to advance a line, or tap a
response to reply.
⏭Skip — skips the
current cutscene (the intro, and scene intros). Same as Esc on a PC.
⏩Fast-forward — hold it
to run at speed through long cutscenes or chatter; let go to return
to normal.
💾Save / Load — opens
the game's own Save / Load / Play / Quit screen.
⧉Mini player — pops the
picture out into a floating window (like YouTube), so a cutscene or
conversation keeps playing while you use other apps. Watch-only:
tap the window's button to return here and play on. iOS only
allows this in Safari, not in the installed app — there,
sound alone keeps playing in the background.
⌨Keyboard — pops up the
on-screen keyboard, for typing a savegame name.
⚙Settings — music, speech,
subtitles and text speed, changeable while you play.
📌Pin — keeps these
buttons always visible instead of fading away.
⌂Home — saves and returns
to this title screen (Continue picks up right where you left off).
Unless pinned, the controls fade away while you play — tap the
screen to bring them back.
Tip: turn the phone sideways for a bigger picture.
